  • Most video files are delivered in MP4 format, which is widely compatible with computers, TVs, and mobile devices. Photos are typically delivered as high-resolution JPEGs.

  • We offer special pricing on all bulk orders. If you have a unique project that you feel warrants a custom rate, just ask—we’re always happy to work with you.

  • Yes. We always organize your digital files based on your preferences—by date, event, or label—whenever possible.

  • We can often work with tapes that have minor damage. If a tape is severely compromised, we’ll assess it and let you know the best options.

  • In addition to our drop off location, we also have a pickup service as well as mail in.

    Download and print our order form, package your items securely, and include the form inside. We recommend using a trackable shipping service.

Film

  • We handle older and delicate film with extra care. Even fragile reels can often be successfully transferred.

  • Yes, film can be repaired, spliced and transferred at no additional charge

  • Yes. We can combine reels into one continuous video or keep them as separate files—whichever you prefer.

  • Your film is typically delivered as an easy-to-watch digital video file (MP4), compatible with modern devices and ready to share or back up.

  • Film is measured in feet. If you’re unsure, contact us and we can give you a general estimate. Once we have received the items, we will be able to give a more detailed price. Check our Prices page for guidelines.

Photos , Slides & Negatives

  • Photos are scanned at high resolution (typically 600 DPI) to ensure excellent clarity and long-term preservation.

  • We handle all materials with care, including fragile, aged, or one-of-a-kind images.

  • Yes, with the caveat that severely damaged video from water damage, etc., can often not be retrieved. Under normal circumstances, video files that are uploaded through adobe editing software, see improvements in color saturation and noise reduction.

  • Yes, video can be repaired, spliced and transferred at no additional charge.

  • We handle VHS, VHS-C, MiniDV, Hi8, Digital8, and most camcorder formats. If you’re unsure what you have, we’re happy to help identify it.

  • Absolutely. Videos can be kept as individual files, combined, or lightly edited with titles or trimming based on your preference.

  • Yes. All files are delivered in MP4 format, compatible with laptops, smart TVs, and mobile devices. They can also be easily shared or backed up using platforms like Dropbox, Google Drive, or iCloud, or uploaded to YouTube.

  • Yes. Whether you have a single tape or a full collection, we keep everything organized and easy to navigate.

  • We take extra care with older media and can often recover footage that may not play on standard equipment. If a tape is severely damaged, we’ll review options with you.
